Cougars Pick Up 5-1 Win Over X-Roads
The Devonshire Cougars picked up their second big win of the season playing at the Devonshire Rec after they defeated X-Roads 5 – 1.
Elisha Darrell opened the scoring in the fifth minute, giving the Devonshire Cougars the lead. Five minutes later it was 2 – 0 when Demetre Daniels scored; the Cougars took that lead to the break.
Five minutes into the second half, Domico Coddington extended the Devonshire Cougars lead to 3 – 0, but in the 62nd minute, Donovan Thompson pulled a goal back for X-Roads. Five minutes after entering the match in the 60th minute, Lejuan Simmons restored the Devonshire Cougars’ three goal lead, and Jesse Seymour closed out the scoring with the Devonshire Cougars’ fifth goal on the night in the 75th minute.
