TROIKA Announce Details For Sarafina Auditions
TROIKA Bermuda announced the audition details for their upcoming Work in Progress #8 production of the Broadway Hit Musical ‘Sarafina!’
A spokesperson said, “Sarafina! is a South African musical by Mbongeni Ngema and Hugh Masakela depicting students involved in the Soweto Riots, in opposition to apartheid.
“TROIKA will be auditioning actors, singers, and dancers for the production. Open call auditions will take place November 4th & 5th, 2022 at The Berkeley Institute. Come prepared! Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this exciting production!
Audition Details
Ensemble Dance Audition:
November 4th from 6pm – 8pm
“The dance audition is mandatory for all persons interested in being in the show. Please come in comfortable clothing and be prepared to move as you will learn a dance combination in the style of the show.
Individual Vocal & Acting Audition:
November 4th from 8pm – 10pm & November 5th from 12pm – 5pm
“Participants will select a time slot to audition. Please come prepared with two songs in either R&B, Gospel, or Afro-Pop. You will be required to perform a memorized monologue of your choice. Choose a monologue in the style of the show.
Video Audition Submission Details:
Deadline November 5th
