Rugby Team Win Three Matches In Mexico
The 2022 Rugby Americas North Super Sevens tournament got underway in Mexico City at UNAM’s Deportivo Alfredo Harp Helu Grounds, with Bermuda represented in both men’s and women’s divisions.
Bermuda’s men opened up with a 26 – 12 victory over the Dominican Republic, then defeated Barbados 14 – 12, and the Bermuda men’s team’s third match saw them defeat Belize 48 – 0.
In their opening match, the Bermuda women fell 39 – 0 to Trinidad & Tobago. The Bermuda women then lost to Jamaica 49 – 0. and lost by a score of 34 – 0 to the Dominican Republic.
