Annabelle Miller & Charlotte Millington Win Gold
Bermuda’s cyclists captured two more gold medals at the Caribbean Junior Championships in the Dominican Republic, with Annabelle Miller and Charlotte Millington both racing to victory.
Millington won the girl’s gold medal in the pre-junior road race after clocking a time of 2:03:47, with Melaika Russell from Jamaica finishing 2 with a time of 2:04:11.
Miller won the girl’s gold medal in the junior female road race stopping the clock in 2:04:11, Jamaica’s Channelle Russell was second with a time of 2:09:30, and Rosselle Ogano from the Dominican Republic finished third clocking 2:15:02.
Both cyclists have already won gold medals, so the team tally is now a total of four gold medals.
