Bermuda Arts Centre’s ‘Small Works’ Show
The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will open its annual ‘Small Works’ show on Friday [Nov 4] from 10.00am to 7.00pm at the Washington Mall.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard is holding its annual ‘Small Works’ show a little earlier than usual this year. They have been invited and are excited to support the Washington Mall’s 50th birthday.
“The show offers a variety of paintings from many of Bermuda’s leading artists all in size of 8″x10″ or smaller, which makes the work easy to wrap and travel with, and with reasonable pricing. There will also be other mixed media available for sale, including jewelry, ceramics and various interesting craft items. A small show with a whole lot to offer; a perfect time to get thinking of that perfect Christmas gift.
“To celebrate with the Washington Mall, the ‘Small Works’ show will be open to the public from 10.00am to 7.00pm. All work will be for sale and can be removed right from the show. The show will hang at ‘The Wall of Words’ at the Church Street entrance into the mall.
“They’ll be having fun meeting and talking with mall visitors and are excited later in the day that they will be joined by live entertainment by Prestige from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, and also below them a wine promotion at Beluga Bar from 5:00 to 6:30pm.
“It’s all happening at the Washington Mall this Friday and The Bermuda Arts Centre hopes to see you as they showcase local artists and Bermuda art.
