Advisory: Remembrance Day Trash Collection

The City of Hamilton is advising residents and businesses that garbage collection will be scheduled on the following dates during the Remembrance Day Weekend.

A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton wishes to advise City businesses and residents that garbage collection will be scheduled on the following dates during the Remembrance Day Weekend:

• Thursday November 10 – Last Collection will take place at 5:00pm
• Friday November 11 – no garbage collection
• Saturday November 12 – Evening collection for Businesses, Bars and Restaurants Only
• Sunday November 13 – Morning collection for Bars and Restaurants Only
• Monday November 14 – Normal garbage collection will resume.

“All garbage should be placed on the sidewalks or designated garbage areas by the time indicated in the Refuse Collection Schedule.

“Please Do Not place garbage out for collection unless a collection is scheduled for that day.”
