Dec 5 – 8: Partial Lane Closure On Middle Road
The Ministry of Public Works advised that “BELCO will be pulling their fiber optic lines through the newly installed manholes on Middle Road from Belmont Substation through to Camp Hill.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Work will require partial lane closure along the route and a temporary traffic light placed along the stretch on Middle Road as they progress. The work will commence Monday, December 5th, 2022 and will be ongoing until Friday, December 8th, 2022.
“Working hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
“Motorists are asked to cautiously travel along Middle Road or use alternative routes via Harbour Road or South road.
“Traffic control will be managed by BELCO representatives through stop and go signs & a temporary traffic light.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the full cooperation of the public, and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
