Seascape Makes Inaugural Visit To Bermuda

The Minister of Transport Wayne Furbert led a small Bermuda delegation on board the MSC Seascape to welcome Captain Francesco Di Palma, officers, crew and passengers on its inaugural visit to Bermuda.

A Government spokesperson said, “The ship has been on a 17-day itinerary from Europe. The MSC Seascape, built in 2022, left Bermuda on Sunday for New York, where she will be christened. Seascape is the newest cruise ship in the MSC fleet and one of the world’s largest cruise ships. The ship has a passenger capacity of 5,877; when she arrived in Bermuda, she carried 3,056 passengers.”

Minister Furbert said, “We are pleased to welcome MSC cruise ships to Bermuda and we’re looking forward to MSC Meraviglia five visits in 2023 from New York starting in August.”
