The article from the cruise ship company says, “Bermuda and The Bahamas are often mentioned together, but aside from sharing the Atlantic, the two have little in common. Bermuda is the buttoned-up charmer; The Bahamas is its louder, livelier cousin.
“Picture sherbet-colored cottages perched on cliffs above pink sand, Atlantic breezes carrying a distant church bell with a faint clip-clop of horse-drawn carriages and happy-hour chatter. Now jump a few hundred miles south to find palm-lined cays, clear blue shallows and Nassau’s lively waterfront with music spilling from beach bars, all underscored by the aroma of conch fritters and rum cake. You can’t go wrong with either choice — which is why the Bermuda vs. The Bahamas question isn’t easy.
