Bermuda cricketer Delray Rawlins was the star attraction at a recent coaching session for youngsters with disabilities in West Sussex, England.

The Sussex all-rounder shared his knowledge and support at the Super 1s event at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley.

Run by the Lord’s Taverners Sports Club, which enhances the prospects of disadvantaged young people and those with disablities through cricket, Super 1s gives youngsters aged 12 to 25 a chance to play the sport.

Rawlins, representing the Sussex Cricket Foundation, said: “I came to support the Supers 1s, which looks like quite a lot of fun.

“It’s nice to see that everyone gets a go, and it’s been a big thing for us at Sussex to get involved in the community. It’s nice to come and show some support.”

The 25-year-old added: “Now you’re seeing the England disability teams doing well, and it’s positive to see. Long may it grow and continue.”
