Cody Rego Claims Three Wins In Florida
Cody Rego recently claimed three wins in Florida and following this excellent showing, the Bermudian equestrian is currently ranked in second place — out of 86 competitors — in the 2023 WIHS Ranking List for the Equitation East Division.
A spokesperson said, “It was a week to remember for Bermuda equestrian Cody Rego as he successfully competed in the 2023 WEF 3 NetJets CS1 4*/2* held this past week in Wellington Florida. Riding the majestic bay gelding Ironman, Cody claimed triple 1st place winnings!!!
“With some 58 competitors vying for placements, Cody secured 1st place in the WIHS Hunter Phase class, 1st place in WIHS jumper phase class as well as 1st place in the WIHS overall.
“As of today, Cody is currently ranked in second place in the 2023 WIHS Ranking List for the Equitation East Division, out of 86 competitors.
“The WIHS finals will be held at the Washington International Horse Show [WIHS] from 23rd – 29th October 2023. Qualification for the prestigious WIHS finals is based upon two leagues: the East Coast League and the West Coast League. The top 30 riders from the East Coast League and the top 10 riders from the West Coast League are invited to compete in the WIHS equitation finals. The Bermuda Equestrian Federation extends its congratulations to Cody!”
