Butterfield Scholarship Applications Open
Butterfield announced that the 2023 Bermuda Undergraduate Scholarship is open to applications.
A spokesperson said, “Now in its 45th year, the scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding students in honour of the bank’s late Chairman, Sir Harry D. Butterfield. The scholarship is worth $30,000 and can be maintained for up to four years of full-time undergraduate education.”
Andrew Burns, Butterfield’s Group Head of Human Resources, said: ‘We are delighted to be accepting applications for the 2023 Undergraduate Scholarship. Now in its 45th year, this scholarship programme is a cornerstone of Butterfield’s commitment to providing opportunities for young people in Bermuda and a continued investment in our community.’
The spokesperson said, “The criteria for selection include academic excellence, community involvement and sporting attainments, financial need, and a candidate’s demonstrated ability to lead. Eligible candidates should apply through the Bermuda Scholarships website at www.BermudaScholarships.com. The application deadline is Friday, 31 March 2023.”
