Pals 35th Annual Walk Set For Sunday

February 21, 2023

A record number of participants will take part in Pals 35th Annual Walk on Sunday [February 26].

More than 650 people have already registered for the annual fundraiser for the charity, with money going towards medical care, equipment and supplies for cancer patients in Bermuda.

Colleen English De Grilla, Pals executive director, told Bernews: “This is one of our biggest fundraisers. We continue to rely on donations from individuals, corporations, foundations and events such as this.

“We do not receive any Government grants and never charge a patient or their family for any of our services.

“There are more than 300 new cancer diagnoses annually in Bermuda. We need your support.”
