Pedal For Paralympics Race Set For Sunday

Avid Cyclists can help support Bermuda’s elite para-athletes by taking part in the Pedal for Paralympics event on Sunday [February 19].
The race, organised by the Bermuda Paralympic Association, features routes for mountain and road bikes and starts at Royal Naval Dockyard in Somerset at 9.45 am and finishes at Ferry Reach Park in St George’s.
Funds raised will help Bermuda’s para-athletes compete at the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris in July, the Parapan Am Games in Santiago, Chile, in November and the Paralympics in Paris next summer.
All participants raising $100 in pledges will enter a draw for prizes.
Registration is $25 in advance or $30 on race day.
