Sand Seals ‘Rooting For’ Rescued Seal
The organizers of the Bermuda Sandcastle Competition dedicated their latest creation to the juvenile seal that was rescued at Clearwater Beach on Saturday [Feb 18].
The Bermuda Sandcastle Competition posted the photos below saying, “This weeks build is dedicated to the island’s latest resident… a poor distressed harbour seal. For those who don’t know seals are not native and never found in our waters. This is the second one to have gotten really lost and ended up on our beaches.
“He has been captured and taken to the aquarium for rehabilitation and I hope he gets well soon! These guys are chilling on a rock at Elbow Beach rooting for him.”
