“The Brownies donated $200 toward Bermuda Cancer and Health’s efforts to support cancer patients and decorated bags which will join the thousands of luminary bags placed around the stadium with sand and a tealight inside.

“The girls, who range in age from 7 to 10, shared names of relatives who succumbed to cancer and survived cancer and decorated the bags with glitter, paint, feathers and bright pictures honouring those who succumbed to cancer and saluted those who survived cancer in Bermuda.

“The Girlguides plan on doubling their donation to Relay for Life and will have a stall at the stadium with participation again this year.
