BWS: Gale Warning For Saturday & Sunday
The Bermuda Weather Service [BWS] has issued a Gale Warning valid for Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.
In an online post, the BWS said, “Enjoy the brief lull tonight between winter lows. Occasional wet gales will be generated this weekend as the next in a series of winter lows deepens rapidly on our doorstep. Seas are expected to peak around 26 feet in our offshore waters. Winter gales [and storms] are a signature within our subtropical winter climate and while conditions are cooler than what we have experienced in recent months… we are still a ways off from any record breaking low temperatures.
