Governor To Host King’s Birthday Reception
Governor Rena Lalgie will host a reception celebrating the King’s 75th birthday at Government House on June, and if you would like to attend you can apply online.
A Government House spokesperson said, “On Thursday 22 June 2023 Her Excellency the Governor will host a reception celebrating His Majesty the King’s 75th Birthday at Government House between 6 and 8 pm.
“If you’d like to attend, please complete the online form, the link to which can be found at https://s.surveyplanet.com/Bye4tR_5ZxPx as well as on the Government House FaceBook page. The link will be active from noon on 13 March 2023 until 12 noon on 31 March 2023.”
The Governor said: “Last year we had a tremendous response from members of the public in attending the Queen’s Birthday Reception in her Jubilee Year. This year we celebrate not only the first King’s Birthday Reception but also the Coronation of His Majesty which will take place on 6 May. While numbers can’t be unlimited, my family and I look forward to welcoming as many as we can to this year’s King’s Birthday Reception.”
