Ian Pilgrim To Officiate Pan Am Games Triathlon
World Triathlon together with Americas Triathlon announced the International Technical Officials that will be involved at the 2023 Santiago Pan American Games, with the list including Bermuda’s Ian Pilgrim.
The organization said, “There will be 18 National Federations represented, with according to other recent selections, 50% of the selected Technical Officials being female.
“The Technical Officials were selected for both games in accordance with World Triathlon’s Technical Officials Appointment Rules, which is a multi-phase process that involves creation of eligible list of officials, proposals from the National Federations from the list of eligible officials, selection by the World/Continental Triathlon Technical Committees and Technical Delegate[s] and finally approval from the World/Continental Triathlon Executive Boards.
“The Santiago 2023 Pan American Games will feature three medal events for Triathlon: Individual Men & Women and the Mixed Relay. Triathlon has been on the program of the Pan American Games since 1995.”
