L’Alliance Français To Hold Annual Dinner
L’Alliance Français has invited its members to its annual dinner at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club in Hamilton on Thursday [March 16].
The event, which will celebrate French Polynesian gastronomy and culture, will also recognise the three winners of its scholarship programme, which is open to students aged 14 to 16.
The winners, who will spend three weeks in France, are selected based on their writing and conversational skills in French.
Over the past 22 years, L’Alliance Français, a registered charity supported by the Christian Humann Foundation, has offered travel and study scholarships to nearly 100 students from different schools and backgrounds in Bermuda.
The event starts at 6.30 pm with cocktails and features an annual general meeting at 7 pm and dinner at 7.30 pm.
Tickets cost $80 for members and $95 for non-members, which includes a welcome drink. Tickets are available until tomorrow [Match 14] at www.bdatix.bm.
