[Updated with results] The 2023 KPMG Round the Grounds Race took place at the Botanical Gardens this afternoon [March 12].
A spokesperson previously said, “This year, the organisers are challenging the 13 to 16-year-old racers to beat the previous record and win a $100 cash prize. The current record for female is 6:04:52 and for male is 4:58:99, both set in 2018.
“All racers will receive a participation medal following their race, and can then join their families and friends to enjoy all the activities taking place on race day. This includes crafts, organised by Masterworks, a bouncy castle, and a variety of food and treats.”
