The Botanical Gardens was filled with the energy of young runners as the KPMG Round the Grounds Junior races took place this weekend.
A spokesperson previously said, “Runners of all ages will race on courses tailored for their age group. The race will start with the 4 and 5-year-olds on a 400-meter course, followed by the 6 and 7-year-olds at 700 meters, and the 8+ group tackling a 1-mile run.”
Yannis Deshields and Judah Maringi were the top finishers in the 4-year-old category in the 2025 KPMG Round the Grounds race. Zoe Sund and Beau Hollinger were the fastest in the 5-year-old category. Raelyn Robinson and Neymar Mullings were the top two in the 6-year-old category. Vivienne Fox and Carter Anderson were the winners in the 7-year-old category. Liliana Corbett and Nolan Horrobin were the top finishers in the 8-year-old category. Emma Watson and Joshua Cann were the winners in the 9- and 10-year-old category. Antoine Whitter was the fastest in the 11- and 12-year-old category. Legend McIntosh won the 13- to 16-year-old category. You can view the full race results here [PDF].
