‘Take Extra Caution When Navigating Roads’
The Bermuda Weather Service [BWS] has issued a Gale Warning valid for tonight [March 11] through Sunday afternoon and the Government is reminding everyone to “take extra caution when navigating the roads.”
A spokesperson said, “Minister of National Security Michael Weeks advises residents to prepare for gale-force winds tonight into Sunday. In addition to rain showers, the BWS predicts winds gusting to storm-force overnight reaching 50 knots [58 miles per hour].
“Motorists should take extra caution when navigating the roads, especially during this evening and the early morning hours of Sunday. For further updates on the current weather conditions, the public should visit www.weather.bm.
