Old Horizontal Cash To Be Retired This Year
The old horizontal bank notes will be retiring and “will no longer have value as a legal tender after 31 December 2023.”
The Government posted the graphic online below, saying, “The Bermuda Monetary Authority advises all Bermuda residents that the use of horizontal cash will be retiring and will no longer have value as a legal tender after 31 December 2023.
“We urge residents to check and see if they have any horizontal cash that needs to be deposited or exchanged by the deadline of 31 December 2023.
