Government Issues RFQ For 150,000 LED Bulbs
The Government has issued a Request for Quotations [RFQ] for supply, store and delivery of 150,000 LED bulbs.
The Government website said, “This Request for Quotations [RFQ] is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Supply, Store and Delivery of 150,000 LED bulbs, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars [Appendix D] [the "Deliverables"].
“This is the 2nd allotment of the Government’s LED stimulus package. This 2nd stimulus package is to purchase and distribute the 2nd purchase of 150,000 LED light bulbs over the coming months to the Bermuda public.
“The Scope of Work covers the successful respondent supplying, storing, and delivering 150,000 LED bulbs in accordance with the specification and the agreement.”

Longer than you think. I made the LED bulk purchase suggestion to Government well over three years ago. Next, look for a timer for an electric water heater program, a huge money saver.
Also, look for some political events in the near future where Government can brag about helping the people fight climate change and the high cost of living in Bermuda.
“This 2nd stimulus package is to purchase and distribute the 2nd purchase of 150,000 LED light bulbs …”
Ahh, more trinkets for the masses.
