Snooker Open Singles & Doubles Results
Action in Bermuda snooker open singles and open doubles took place.
Jacal Washington advanced in his open singles 2nd round match defeating Chris Dakin 2 – 0.
Washington won the 1st game 37-36, he then won the 2nd game 48-26.
Washington will face Todd Dziak in the quarter-finals.
Steven Bremar advanced to the open singles semi-finals after he defeated the defending champion, John Orr, 2 – 1.
Bremar went ahead 1 – 0 after he won the 1st game 74-27, but Orr would level the match at 1 – 1 when he won the 2nd game 62-30. The 3rd game would see Bremar advance winning 44-7.
Bremar will face Peter Bromby in the semi-final.
In open doubles semi-final action Paul Fedden and Tyler Moniz defeated Peter Bromby and Martin Siese, 2 – 1.
Fedden and Moniz won the 1st game 60-36, but Bromby and Siese won the 2nd game 51-49, Fedden and Moniz won the 3rd game 72-26 to claim the victory.
