Centenarians Celebrated On Mother’s Day
Centenarians were celebrated at the Strength for the Journey Mother’s Day Celebration event.
The event honoured three women – Dr. Dorothy Mathews Paynter, Emily Eva Outerbridge, and Myrtle Burrows – all of whom are more than 100 years old, with an Against All Odds Award given to Carol Ann Wade.
A spokesperson said, “The event was held at the Willowbank Resort on Sunday, May 14 and completely sold out. Entertainment featured included Big Snipes, Willard Burch, Chontelle Lee, John Seymour, and Bermuda Idol Danyell Webb.”
