Harbour Nights Cancelled Due To Weather

May 24, 2023

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce announced that tonight’s [May 24] Harbour Nights is cancelled due to “adverse weather conditions.”

A spokesperson said, “It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of tonight’s highly anticipated Harbour Nights event due to adverse weather conditions. Typically, the decision regarding event cancellation is shared at 4pm on the day itself. However, given this entire week’s weather and the likelihood of rain tonight, we have made the call to cancel earlier than usual.

“The safety and enjoyment of our attendees and vendors are our top priorities, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. We understand the time, effort, and resources that our partners have dedicated to preparing for Harbour Nights, and we share in the disappointment resulting from this unforeseen turn of events.

“While the cancellation is undoubtedly disappointing, we remain committed to the success of Harbour Nights and the support of our partners, to whom we extend our heartfelt appreciation for their understanding and cooperation in this matter. Your support and partnership are invaluable to us, and we look forward to hosting our first Harbour Nights event together next week, on the 31st of May.

“For any questions or further information, please contact Amanda Duncan, Marketing & Events Specialist at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce. aduncan@bcc.bm / 599-4201. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation and thank you for your understanding.”
