Jacob Madeiros Makes All-Region Team In US

Bermudian footballer Jacob Madeiros has been recognised as one of the top players in his region following his impressive displays for May River High School in Bluffton, South Carolina.
In addition to being named All-Region, the 16-year-old won the Most Valuable Player award for the May River varsity team and has been named captain for next season.
Madeiros, who was recently named in the South Carolina Coaches Association All-State team, will play for his local club Bluffton Rush in the coming months and attend ID Camps.
The forward, whose family moved to the United States seven years ago, also plays for the Tormenta FC Academy in the MLS Next, a youth league in the US and Canada, which is organised by Major League Soccer.
