Summer Sunday City Funday On July 16th
Summer Sunday City Funday will take place in Victoria Park on Sunday, July 16th, with live entertainment, multiple food and snack vendors, carnival games, giveaways and more.
City of Hamilton Events & Marketing Coordinator, Melissa Looby, said of the event, “Summer Sunday is our biggest family event of the year, so we hope that people take advantage of this amazing afternoon in Victoria Park. We’ll have live entertainment, multiple food and snack vendors, carnival games, giveaways and so much more. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday and engage the kids.”
A spokesperson said, “The Town Crier and Powergirl Patrina O’Connor will emcee the event and live acts include HnH Gombeys, Working Title, Silver City Band, DJ Mystro, and the Bermuda Squad Dancers. Kids will have plenty of activities to enjoy with fun castles, a pie-eating contest, face-painting, giant lawn games and an array of carnival games, including a celebrity dunk tank, with prizes up for grabs.
“The event will run from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Admission to the event is free. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is Sunday, July 23rd. Visit the City’s Event page and social media platforms for all updates to Summer Sunday.”
