Bermuda swimmer Jack Harvey had a busy day in the pool competing in the men’s 50 metres backstroke and 200 freestyle at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, El Salvador, yesterday [June 28].

Harvey, who came third in his 50 backstroke heat in 26.57sec, finished eighth in the A final in 26.70sec.

He also placed fourth in his 200 freestyle heat, finishing in 2:11.60. He did not advance to the finals.

Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore will compete in the women’s 50 butterfly and 50 freestyle heats today.

Benedict Parfit will take to the pool for the men’s 50 freestyle heats.

The Bermuda women’s hockey team, who lost 3-2 to Barbados in their opening preliminary group B match, take on the Dominican Republic today.
