Chare Smith Helps Uphill Defeat West Monkton
Chare Smith and his Uphill Castle Cricket Club teammates defeated West Monkton Cricket Club by 10 wickets, in Somerset Cricket League Division 1 action.
Batting first West Monkton was bowled out for 143, Richie Bellringer was the top scorer with 28, Ashley Allen was the pick of the Uphill Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 9-2-29-4. Smith bowled 7-0-34-2, he also held onto a catch.
In reply Uphill Castle scored 146/0, Finn Churchward was the top scorer with a knock of 100 not out.
