Harvey And Moore Win Medals At CAC Games

Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore won medals on the final night of the swimming competition at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Harvey, who won silver in the women’s 50 metres backstroke on Saturday, finished third in the 50 butterfly in 27.11sec to take bronze. Her teammate Moore came seventh in 27.44.
Moore won her first medal of the Games after claiming silver in the 50 freestyle in 25.79. She was just 0.35 seconds behind Tayde Revilak, of Mexico, who won gold. Harvey came fifth in 26.04.
Meanwhile, Benedict Parfit finished fifth in the men’s 50 freestyle B final in 23.49, placing thirteenth overall.
The Bermuda women’s hockey team lost 5-1 to the Dominican Republic in the preliminary group B match.
