Archery Team To Compete At Island Games
The National Archery Association of Bermuda has chosen their men’s team to represent Bermuda at the 2023 NatWest International Island Games which will be held in July in Guernsey.
A spokesperson said, “Bernard Wade III and Robert O’Conner will compete in the men’s 1440 event on the 10 July 2023. This will consist of 36 arrows at 30m, 50m, 70m and 90m. Their next event will be the 720 which is 72 arrows at 70m on 11 July and individual eliminations on 12 July.
“These two archers are no strangers to the Island Games. In June 2017, Bermuda finished with a Silver medal in the Mixed Team event. While the weather for training has not been the best the archers are ready to take on Guernsey.”
