Chare Smith Leads Uphill To Cricket Victory
Chare Smith led Uphill Castle to victory over North Newton Cricket Club in the UK.
Uphill Castle won the toss and sent North Newton to bat, they bowled them out for 77 after 25.1 overs. M Barham was the top scorer with 15 not out, while Smith was the pick of the bowlers returning figures of 9-3-24-6, he bowled three and had three caught, he also hung onto a catch himself.
In reply Uphill Castle scored 80/2, F Churchward was the top scorer with 47 not out, Smith did not bat. J Williams was the pick of the North Newton bowlers returning figures of 5.1-0-43-2.
