Inline Ball Hockey: Islanders & Waves Win
The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League season continued with a double-header taking place and producing a total of 36 goals at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Tuckers Town Tropics 8 St. David’s Islanders 9
In the opener, the Tuckers Town Tropics were edged 9 – 8 by the St. David’s Islanders.
Doug Lynch would lead the St David’s Islanders to victory with 6 goals, with Matt Mcpahil, Jeremy Estey and James Amaral all adding a goal each.
The Tuckers Town Tropics got two goals from Matthew Benson, Adam Mattatal and Kris Abramowski, while Wyatt Hall and John Morran added a goal each.
Southampton Sailors 6 Warwick Waves 13
In the nightcap, the Warwick Waves defeated the Southampton Sailors 13 – 6.
The Warwick Waves got 4 goals from Doug Lynch, Seth Duerden added a hat-trick, Marcel Bouwens and Wayne Woloshyn both scored twice, while Jeff Ingleman and Wyatt Woloshyn added a goal each.
Mathieu Desjardins scored twice for the Southampton Sailors, with Josh Wilson, Mark Heintzman, Ryan Wilson and Kris Abramoski all adding a goal each.
