Photos: Former ADCs To Governor Celebrated
The Governor hosted a dinner at Government House with most of the former Aides-de-Camp [ADCs] and their spouses to celebrate 50 years of Bermudians serving as Aides-de-Camp to the Governors of Bermuda.
Government House posted the photos online below, and said, “Celebrating 50 years of Bermudians serving as Aides-de-Camp to the Governors of Bermuda.
“On Saturday evening, Her Excellency and Mr Jacob Hawkins hosted a dinner at Government House with all the former Aides-de-Camp [ADCs] and their spouses. The guests were treated to musical serenades by members of the RBR Band and Corps of Drums.
“Yesterday, Honorary Colonel David Gibbons, Majors Alvin Daniels, Larry Mussenden, Marc Telemaque, and Captain Alexander Gibbs planted cedar trees on Government House grounds to represent the five decades of service as Aides-de-Camp.
“A Service of thanksgiving will take place at St. Peter’s Their Majesties Chappell at 12:30pm on Sunday, July 16th.
