Wallpaper Wednesday: Bermuda Words Notepad
The latest design in Bernews’ weekly Wallpaper Wednesday series features some of the Bermudian words — chingas, chopse, greeze, mug, well & wrinch — that were added in the March 2021 update to the Oxford English Dictionary.
The words being officially added to the dictionary was called a “landmark moment” for the Oxford English Dictionary, which dates back to the 1800s, with Bermudian English becoming the “smallest national variety” to be represented in the OED.
The design is available in two sizes; a Facebook profile cover image and also in a vertical format, ideally sized for use as a mobile phone wallpaper, WhatsApp status image or Instagram story.
