Registration Re-Opens For Iron Kids Triathlon
Registration is now re-open for the Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon and Carnival which will be held on September 16 at Clearwater Beach.
A spokesperson said, “The race is on for the 33rd Annual Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon and Carnival! Previously postponed due to inclement weather, the event will now occur on Saturday, September 16 at Clearwater Beach in St. David’s.
“Registration is now re-open. All kids ages 3 to 15 are invited to compete for a chance to win up to a $1,000 Clarien Iron Kids Bank account.
- To register, please visit www.clarienironkids.com and select the “Registration” button.
- An adult must create an online account to register a child[ren] for the event.
- Registration is available online only and closes at 5pm on Friday, September 15.
- Registration Fee: Tiny Tots, $8 [Ages 3 – 6] | Junior Triathlon, $15 [Ages 7 – 15].
“Kids previously registered for the postponed event in June remain registered and do not need to take additional action. Those who are no longer able to attend should email info@bermudatiming.com for refund assistance.
Are You Ready to Race?
The Junior Triathlon [Ages 7 – 15]
- Children ages 7-15 swim, bike and run to the finish line. This competition is open to all children, but veteran youth triathletes often participate.
Tiny Tots Race [Ages 3 – 6]
- This is the last triathlon event of the day, open to children ages 3-6. Tiny Tots must be accompanied by an adult.
Boys & Girls [Ages 11-15]
- 200 meter swim
- 5 mile bike
- 1 mile run
Boys & Girls [Ages 7-10]
- 100 meter swim
- 2.5 mile bike
- 0.5 mile run
Tiny Tots [Ages 3-6]
- 10 meter swim
- 250 meter bike
- 50 meter run
“Junior Triathlon races begin at 10:30am. All participants must be ages 3 to 15 on December 31, 2023. Children
turning 7 or 11 before December 31 will be required to register in the next age group category.
Race Kit Collection
“Race Kit Collection and body marking begin at 8:30am on Saturday, September 16 at Clearwater Beach.
However, participants who are unable to collect race kits at that time may collect on Friday, September 15
at the Clarien Point House office in Hamilton from 1pm – 4pm.
“All Iron Kids participants must be at Clearwater Beach on Saturday, September 16 no later than 10am to
compete.
Carnival Fun
“This year will mark the return of the community Carnival. The entire community is invited to once again enjoy
the full Clarien Iron Kids Triathlon experience with the return of carnival games and expanded food and
entertainment options.
