BTA Unveil ‘Find The Time You Lost’ Resources
Today, Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] officially unveiled new group travel resources as a feature of its “Find the Time You Lost” campaign.
A spokesperson said, “Today, Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] officially unveiled new group travel resources as a feature of its “Find the Time You Lost” campaign. Believing there is no better place to celebrate a wedding, bachelorette, babymoon, birthday, or long-overdue family reunion, the island’s tourism experts have assembled fresh inspiration for life’s magical milestones at Gotobermuda.com/Celebrations.
“On the newly launched content hub for celebrations, find vacation ideas to take advantage of Bermuda’s mild climate and year-round, outdoor adventures. Wake up with a round of golf on any of seven picturesque courses, recline midday for a massage inside Grotto Bay’s caves, stroll charming historic towns, or stargaze by yacht. The online hub also takes the stress out of event planning with helpful guides and venue directories organised by themes, including waterfront and unique event spaces, and the option to connect with a Bermuda event planning expert.”
“We created ‘Find the Time You Lost’ to ignite conversation about what matters most in life, and to make it easy for people to reconnect with loved ones,” said Jamari Douglas, VP, Marketing, PR, and Communications.
“Statistics show that planning remains the most stressful part of a vacation, but in Bermuda, we believe in evolving resources and working closely with travel planners to make celebrations a breeze.”
The spokesperson said, “Located in the North Atlantic, Bermuda’s close proximity to major U.S. cities, including New York City and Charlotte, N.C. with flights under two hours, make travel almost effortless. BermudAir, an all-business class carrier, just launched year-round service with flights between Bermuda and Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Westchester, N.Y.”
Clearly looking for another award to put in the trophy cabinet. The private sector has done this for years without a Government quango to mess things up.
Why would anyone come to bermuda when they’re literally hundreds of better and way cheaper places? Has anyone on the board ever traveled outside of bermuda before? Because if they have they would know pink sand beaches isn’t a reason to visit anymore.
“Why would anyone come to bermuda …?”
Because it is beautiful and it is relatively safe.
Most of our visitors are here for business, not pleasure, and that has been the case for years.
Sadly, we no longer have much by way of live evening entertainment (or hotels!)
If you’ve ever wondered about the best things to do in Bermuda or are planning a trip to this little island, you may be pleasantly surprised at how much this island has to offer. Bermuda is a little island in the middle of the North Atlantic
