Luke Robinson, the Bermuda winger, is set for the “new chapter” of his football career after joining Glacis United in the Gibraltar National League.

Robinson confirmed his departure from Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division side Whitehawk last week.

He tweeted: “Want to thank everyone at @HawksFCOfficial for the warm welcome and support throughout my time there.

“I’ve enjoyed every minute and the success that we achieved. I’ve made some great memories, but it’s time for me to move on to a new chapter. I’ll always be a Hawks fan.”

The 24-year-old, who played in Bermuda’s recent Concacaf Nations League matches, scored in Whitehawk’s 3-1 win at home to Horsham last month.

Robinson joined Brighton-based Whitehawk on a dual registration in December last year and helped them win promotion via the South East Division play-off final last season.

Glacis beat Mons Calpe 2-1 in their opening league game of the season. They are away at Manchester 62 on Saturday [September 23].
