Students Complete Marsh McLennan Internship
Four college students – Marcos Furr, Amir Thomas, Peter Silvester and Madison Smith – took part in Marsh McLennan’s summer internship program.
A spokesperson said, “Marsh McLennan, the world’s leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy, and people, recently concluded its highly successful summer internship program for four talented college students in Bermuda.
“Over the course of 10 weeks, interns Marcos Furr, Amir Thomas, Peter Silvester and Madison Smith explored various aspects of the insurance and reinsurance brokerage industries at Marsh and Guy Carpenter, businesses of Marsh McLennan, and gained insights into underwriting practices at Allied World.
“To enhance their learning experience, each student was paired with a dedicated mentor from various practices within Marsh and Guy Carpenter, including financial and professional liability, casualty, property, and reinsurance. These mentors provided guidance and support, ensuring the interns received well-rounded exposure to the brokerages’ operations.”
