‘Thanks For Making Harbour Nights A Success’
Following the conclusion of this year’s Harbour Nights season, the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce extended their thanks to “everyone who made this journey a success.”
A spokesperson said, “As we bid farewell to another extraordinary season of Harbour Nights, The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce are delighted to share the deepest gratitude with everyone who made this journey a success.
A quick look at part of the first Harbour Nights event of this year
“This year, Harbour Nights extended its season to 15 weeks, and the response was nothing short of incredible. Week after week, we welcomed an average of 3000 to 5000 attendees who flocked to the streets of Hamilton to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of our island’s culture.
“This success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our sponsors. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our main sponsors, the Corporation of Hamilton, and the Bermuda Tourism Authority, for their dedication to the event and commitment to promoting our vibrant community. In addition, we want to express our sincere gratitude to our weekly sponsors for adding their own unique twist to Harbour Nights: Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, One Communications, HSBC, OUTBermuda, and Butterfield.
“We also extend our thanks to the valued partners who collaborated with us to ensure the success, enjoyment, and safety of each event: the Corporation of Hamilton, Great Sound, Select Sites Group, Universal Security Alliance, Straight Line, the Bermuda Regiment, the Bermuda Police Service, the Department of Marine and Ports Services, the Department of Health, Saint John Ambulance.
“Our heartfelt thanks also go out to the 100 vendors who participated in Harbour Nights, sharing their unique talents and creations with our community and visitors. Your contributions added immeasurable vibrancy to our event, and we are immensely grateful for your involvement.
“Thank you also to all the bands, Gombey troupes, dancers, performers, choirs and majorettes who performed every Wednesday, introduced by Hamilton’s own Town Crier. The displays of talent that we had the privilege of witnessing this summer are truly inspiring.
“We value the opinions and suggestions of our community, and we invite everyone who attended Harbour Nights this season to share their feedback, comments, and ideas with us. Your insights are invaluable as we strive to make each subsequent season even more remarkable.
“To provide your input, please feel free to fill out our feedback form. We eagerly anticipate hearing from you and look forward to incorporating your ideas into the future of Harbour Nights.
“As we close the chapter on this season, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support we have received from our sponsors, partners, vendors, and attendees. Harbour Nights is a celebration of Bermuda’s vibrant culture, and your participation makes it truly special.
“Thank you for making Harbour Nights 2023 a resounding success. We can’t wait to see you again next year for another season of unforgettable moments.”
Can someone explain to me why Harbor Nights isn’t run until NOVEMBER?
Don’t we still have tourist / cruise ship passengers desperate for cultural events. Surely the stall operators would be happy to continue and the Corporation has the continued revenue!?!
