Penruddocke Secures Olympic Spot In Chile

Bermuda sailors Adriana Penruddocke and Campbell Patton were both back on the water, the fleet completed just two races on the day to take the series to 10 races.

Penruddocke has secured Bermuda a ILCA6 spot for the Paris Olympics, having finished as the second America’s sailor, she was in 10th place. Patton came off the water in 12th place.

Penruddocke in the ILCA6 fleet has 79 net points after she finished 10th in the first race of the day and the ninth of the series, before finishing 6th in the second race of the day.

Competing in the ILCA7 fleet, Patton has 84 net points, Patton crossed the line 15th in the first race of the day and the ninth of the series, before crossing the line 11th in the second race of the day.
