Court House Donates $4,500 To Mirrors
Court House Squash & Wellness and their membership raised $4,500 for the Mirrors Programme.
A spokesperson said, “Since opening in 2009, Court House Squash & Wellness [Court House] has held several fitness-focused fundraising events to raise money for local charities. The Court House annual Members Christmas Party is an additional opportunity to give back to the community, where proceeds from ticket and raffle sales go to charitable partners.
“The health and wellness club has raised funds for charities such as P.A.L.S. Cancer Care, The Bermuda Red Cross, Bermuda Diabetes Association, Friends of Hospice, Beyond Rugby and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Bermuda.

“This year, Court House chose M.A.F.A. [Mirrors Alumni & Friends Association] as the charity to partner with in support of their Mirrors Programme. The ground-breaking programme empowers young people and adults to reach their potential through personal transformation that promotes healthy relationships.”
Alison Brook, general manager of Court House, stated, “We are thrilled to have made a contribution towards the Mirrors Programme this year. We value the emphasis that is placed on youth and the empowering experiences that M.A.F.A. offers year-round. We recognize the importance of M.A.F.A.’s continued mission for creating positive life outcomes for youth in the areas of education, employment and criminal justice.”
In collaboration with local companies who donated raffle prizes, Court House and its membership raised $4,500 for the Mirrors Programme.
Joshua Wilson, co-chairman of M.A.F.A., stated, “On behalf of Mirrors Alumni & Friends Association, we thank Court House for the generous donation towards safeguarding our youth. It is contributions like this that allow us to realise our mission of transforming young people’s lives and strengthening our community. The funds will support students in the upcoming program.”
Court House said they “look forward to further collaboration with charitable and corporate partners in 2024 to positively impact the health of the local population.”
