Davidrose Studio To Celebrate 11th Anniversary
Davidrose Studio is inviting the public to its Front Street store on Friday [Dec 15] to celebrate its upcoming 11th anniversary.
A spokesperson said, “Davidrose Studio is inviting the public to pop by its Front Street store on Friday, December 15 to celebrate its 11th anniversary. Guests will enjoy free sweet treats [no purchase necessary] and 11% off selected collections.
“Davidrose Studio is owned by husband and wife David and Rose Zuill, who met over a decade ago as university students in Toronto. It was there that they discovered their mutual passion for design and began dreaming up a jewelry collection centred around Bermuda’s seas, skies, and stories.”
Mr. Zuill said, “I know that many local and international artists talk about how much Bermuda has inspired them and that was certainly true for us. We began designing and creating jewelry and in 2012 and opened up our store in St. George’s. In 2017, we celebrated four years of marriage and the opening of our beautiful store Davidrose Studio on Front Street.”
Mrs. Zuill said, “We were sad to close our St. George’s store during the height of the pandemic. But earlier this year, we opened up Davidrose Boutique in Dockyard. 2023 marks 11 years of us having at least one retail location, so we wanted to have a special celebration. The last few years have been challenging for most entrepreneurs, and we want to thank our community, our clients, our family, and friends for their ongoing support.”
The spokesperson said, “Over the years, David and Rose have connected with thousands of visitors to the island, eager to purchase a memento of their time in Bermuda. Their most popular collections with visitors are the Ocean Collection, which features their exclusive Cat’s Eye stone and the Bermuda Collection, which celebrates the island’s history.
“Davidrose is also very well known for their custom engagement rings and wedding bands.”
Mrs. Zuill said, “We are so proud to have been part of so many wedding journeys, and have collaborated with many couples on their journeys to say ‘I do.’ I like to say that a couple’s romance is unique and so their rings should be too.”
The spokesperson said, “During their years of building their business, Rose and David also had a growing family, with their two daughters, 7-year-old Arya Rose and 4-year-old Alaya.”
Mr. Zuill said, “Our eldest daughter Arya wanted to create her own jewelry line for children. It’s called ‘Chapter I: Home.’ We are so proud that she is inspired by art and design and Bermuda like us. As we celebrate our 11th anniversary, it’s exciting to think that we are building a business that our girls may one day manage, and that would be here for generations to come.”
On Friday, guests can come join the celebration at their Front Street store anytime between 10am and 5pm, when the store will closed for a private event.
