Kole Hall returned to action for Chester in their goalless draw at home to Boston United in the Vanarama National League North this weekend.
The Bermuda forward, who underwent knee surgery in October, paid for by the club’s fans group Cestrians 1885, came on as a 61st-minute substitute.
He wrote on Instagram: “Back amongst it after three months out! It feels good to touch the pitch again.”
The 25-year-old has made eight appearances this term, scoring one goal.
His compatriot Keziah Martin, the national team midfielder, played the entire match for Boston.
Meanwhile, fit-again Nahki Wells was an unused substitute in Bristol City’s 1-0 win at home to Sunderland in the Sky Bet Championship.
The striker had been out of action since picking up an ankle injury during his side’s 2-1 defeat away to Leeds United in October.
