Delray Rawlins and Scorpions Lose In T20

Delray Rawlins and the Florida Scorpions were eliminated from the US Open Cricket tournament after losing to Clarian County Eagles by seven wickets in a rain-affected match at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, yesterday [December 15].
The eliminator match was reduced to ten overs per side, with the Scorpions winning the toss and batting first, scoring 89 for the loss of four wickets.
Rawlins, the Bermuda captain, scored 14 off 11 balls, including one four and a six, before being run out in the final over.
In reply, the County Eagles reached their target off nine overs, scoring 92 for three wickets.
Rawlins conceded 26 runs off his two overs of slow left-arm.
The Scorpions won one of their four matches in the competition.
