Salvation Army ‘Fill The Truck Of Hope’ Event
The annual Salvation Army ‘Fill The Truck of Hope’ campaign was held this week, with people donating food items, Christmas gifts for children, gift cards and more.
A spokesperson said, “We were blessed to be able to join radio hosts Beverly Howell and Nikita on Magic 102.7 FM on the radio for 3.5 hours as we encouraged Bermudians to come to the radio station and drop off non-perishable food items, unwrapped Christmas gifts for children, gift cards and monetary donations.
“What a blessing it was to see folk come and drop off their donations. Music filled the air as Shine Hayward and Cher-Ann Brangman blessed us with the smooth sounds of the saxophone, and members of the Salvation Army North Street Citadel band played Christmas carols.
“Thank you Bermuda for your love and support of the Salvation Army year round. God bless all of you. Merry Christmas.”
