Registration Opens For 2024 Relay For Life
Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre announced the launch of Relay For Life 2024, an “inspiring event dedicated to celebrating survivors, remembering those with cancer and those no longer with us, and fighting back by raising awareness and crucial funds to support access to cancer prevention, detection, treatment.
A spokesperson said, “Registration is officially open, and we invite the community to join us on May 10-11 for 18 hours of unity and empowerment, proudly presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance for the 11th year in a row.”
“Relay For Life 2024 carries the powerful theme, “Every Cancer, Every Life,” underscoring our commitment to inclusivity and support for all those affected by cancer. This theme serves as a rallying cry to emphasise that every cancer diagnosis is significant, and every life touched by this disease matters. We aim to create an environment where individuals, families, colleagues and communities come together to support each other in the face of the challenges posed by cancer.
“This community-driven event brings people together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer. Teams of participants take turns walking around the track during the 18-hour event, symbolising the ongoing fight against this disease. It’s a powerful testament to the strength and resilience of cancer patients.
